Militaires en reconversion

Military veterans seeking new careers

Veteran who have joined Turgis Gaillard continue to serve their country through other means. We’ve created a working environment that’s conducive to easy integration, making the transition from military to civilian life much smoother.

We offer three main types of opportunities to former military personnel:

For officers from the three services

As experts in team leadership and the management of complex projects, former military officers and engineers are typically destined to prepare for managerial positions.

We build a career path that enables you to acquire the necessary technical know-how, which complements the interpersonal skills we’re looking for in these profiles.

For specialist officers and NCOs

Working at Turgis Gaillard gives you the opportunity to perfect your skills in your field of expertise by joining a company that is a recognized defense industry member. We offer an exciting second career path for seasoned specialists: aeronautical, armaments or ancillary equipment maintenance technicians, systems or structure technicians, signals intercept technicians, cybersecurity technicians, works supervisors, etc.

Such recruitment takes place at the end of the military career, and in close collaboration with commanders, so as not to deprive the armed forces of rare and valuable skills.

For enlisted personnel

We offer enlisted personnel at the end of their contract a training program in welding (boilermaking, piping, etc.) and mechanical trades.

Whatever your specialty and particularly if you come from a combat unit (infantry, commandos, etc.) but want to learn an exciting, demanding trade with prospects for advancement, apply for our paid training program leading to a permanent contract: three months of practical and theoretical courses in the workshop, followed by six months of apprenticeship on site, before becoming an experienced professional.

Anticipate your career change: it’s a process that needs to be prepared several months in advance.
