Systèmes spéciaux

Special systems

Because some needs are too specific to be satisfied with series-produced systems, Turgis Gaillard teams have the ability to design and build customized projects.

Répondre aux besoins de l’industrie

Meeting industry needs

We operate in the traditional industrial sector, offering machines and robots that can be installed in factories, generally when they are modernized or adapted to new activities. The challenge here is to fit into an existing environment and fulfill the function requested by the customer at the optimum budget, as quickly as possible, and with the best possible guarantee of operational safety.

For the energy sector (production, extraction) and pyrotechnical activities, we also design systems that have to operate in hazardous environments, particularly in potentially contaminated or explosive zones. These systems protect the lives of operators, who no longer have to expose themselves to risk, and improve productivity, since they are adapted by design to the hazards actually encountered in the field.

Finally, we produce special systems for prime contractors in the aerospace and defense industries, covering three main needs:

01.

Produce prototypes for testing before launching series production.

02.

Respond to a very specific requirement, such as support systems for heavily modified special-mission aircraft, or communications or electronic warfare systems.

03.

Carry out maintenance operations not anticipated by the manufacturer or for which tooling has become obsolete, for example to repair structural corrosion on aircraft.

Our greatest strength is to be able to rapidly propose a solution to the customer. Our day-to-day job is to understand the customer’s needs, come up with solutions and apply them, all the while adapting to the main challenge of the project, which is sometimes the deadline (Aircraft on Ground AOG), and other times cost.

We're organized to respond urgently to the most complex requests. This is both what interests us most — we enjoy a challenge — and why we add the most value.

Meeting the needs of armed forces and government agencies

Military personnel deployed on operations need systems that are adapted to the environment they encounter, to new tactics, to emerging threats, and to innovative technologies.

Turgis Gaillard offers the ability to convert ideas into equipment.

We are attentive to requirements from the field, at the cutting edge of technology, and organized to design and produce new products rapidly.

This makes Turgis Gaillard the expert in responding to urgent operational requirements.

Capability is a major challenge for the armed forces, who must have robust, equipment with good in-service support, but which often suffers from long development times and drawn out production schedules. This sometimes results in a mismatch between the equipment used and the conditions encountered in the field.

Turgis Gaillard was specifically designed to remedy these shortcomings, mainly by reusing existing equipment and adapting it to new uses. This is the essence of architectural innovation.

Répondre aux besoins des armées et des administrations

We're always keen to do things better, more efficiently, faster. We know the threats faced by the French military on operations, and we want to give them the means to stay ahead of their adversaries.

Design, production, maintenance and quality assurance

Turgis Gaillard designs, produces and maintains the solutions we develop, and guarantees through-life support. We work to the most stringent quality standards, so as to offer a level of excellence absolutely comparable to that of series-produced systems.

That’s what makes us special, and that’s our main comparative advantage in special systems: we offer peace of mind. With Turgis Gaillard, you’ll get the service you expect.

We carry out so many different projects every year that this ends up being a comparative advantage in itself: we're rarely caught unprepared, and all the solutions we have conceived and commissioned constitute a storehouse of know-how that we draw on with each new program.
