Work that makes sense

At Turgis Gaillard, we never forget who we’re working for: a large part of our business is dedicated to the French armed forces and their allies. We design and produce military systems, supporting operations in France and around the world. Through their work, the men and women of Turgis Gaillard contribute to the defense of France’s interests and the protection of their fellow citizens.

In the civilian sector, we are working to revive our country’s industrial sovereignty. A revival that offers industry the complete independence needed to translate the collective will into reality. A revival that is sustainable, thanks to the reduction of polluting emissions and the rational use of resources.

To a certain extent, all Turgis Gaillard employees work for the common good. It's ingrained in our DNA, ever since Fanny Turgis and I decided from the outset to create a defense industrial group, at a time when few people believed in industry in France and military budgets were at an all-time low.

Contribute to sustainable development

Turgis Gaillard’s teams are fully committed to the challenge of decarbonization.

Pioneers in electric mobility, we received an award in 2018 for the design and marketing of the SunWave solar-powered boat. This heritage lives on in our Rouillac workshops, where we contribute to road transport decarbonization with the conversion of engines to alternative energies, and in our Lozère workshops, where we develop electric ground support equipment, such as the Sefiam 1602.

As major players in the decarbonization of the economy, Turgis Gaillard Industrie plants are retrofitting existing factories to reduce their energy consumption, power them with clean energy and connect them to district heating networks to reuse heat waste from production activities. As part of the reindustrialization of France, we design and build new, cleaner plants that take a global approach to their environmental impact.

More generally, we are gradually transforming our industrial sites to save energy and ensure that they are better integrated into their environment and less resource-intensive.
